Help! – a colorful world that uncovers the complete story of the Jewish underworld and its various types – bandits, whores, drunkards, beggars, various wheeler dealers – come to life with their juicy Yiddish.
The play takes us into the town’s bazaar where these characters act and earn their livelihood. The stories, plays, and sketches are interlaced with marvelous songs about drinking, robbery, prostitutes, and prison. Some of these are full of naughty and biting humor, while some pull at the heartstrings when they expose the sentimental human story.
